My husband, Bob, is a master woodworker. I (Wendi) am a musician (handbells and Horn) and part time wood worker. I was asked by the director of the Heartland Ringers (a community handbell choir) to find a way to do the singing bell technique without damaging the mallets (a suggested way of doing the singing bell technique).
After seeing some of the dowels offered by other groups, we came up with an idea of making the dowels a little smaller in diameter (ease of handling) and seeing how GREEN we could become.
